About Savannah Scott
THERAPIST
Savannah Scott
AMFT
(She/Her/Hers)
Welcome! I am so happy you’ve found yourself here. You are in great company.
My Specialties and Approach
I believe anybody can be a good therapist but I work hard to ensure that you feel comfortable enough to tell me what you need, what works for you, and what doesn’t work for you. I’m open to feedback and suggestions because I want you to get what you need out of that precious time spent in the therapy room.
I have found many passions within the therapy world. The first is working with teens! I have loved studying the different stages of childhood and adolescent development which helps me cater to their specific needs. I also love working with faith transitions, including individuals and couples, and mixed faith relationships. My background as a Marriage and Family Therapist helps me understand the acute impact each family member has throughout this process.
Being a millennial woman has made me acutely aware of women’s issues and pre/postnatal care. I had the great opportunity to become Perinatal Mood Disorder trained which has helped me become more competent in working with postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and infertility, for all types of parents.
My Education and Experience
I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2024.
Overall, I have a passion for therapy no matter who is in my office. I cherish that time and understand both the scary and relieving experience of starting therapy. In the words of Taylor Swift that I so live by: “I had a feeling so peculiar that this pain wouldn’t be forevermore”.
