(She/Her/Hers)
Hello, and bienvenido! I have a deep passion for helping individuals heal and grow. With years of experience in social services, I have worked with diverse populations, offering a culturally sensitive, non-judgmental approach to my work.
My Specialties and Approach
I have special interest and expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, faith transitions, and self-acceptance. Having personally navigated my own anxiety and trauma, I understand the importance of working from a place of empathy and respect for your unique journey. I know how important it is to meet you where you are at today and work within your values. In collaboration with you, I will work hard to make sure you feel understood and supported throughout the whole therapy process.
I am fluent in Spanish and ensure that clients from all walks of life, including those from diverse racial, cultural, religious, and LGBTQ+ backgrounds, feel safe and accepted in my office. I want to help you explore your life experiences, gain new perspectives and find the needed skills to feel better.
My Education and Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Utah Valley University and graduated in 2025 with Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rocky Mountain University.
Outside of therapy, I am a certified yoga instructor and teach hot yoga! I love the meditative practice of yoga and how it helps us connect with our bodies, find balance, and integrate mindfulness into our lives. In my spare time, you can catch me reading, particularly epic fantasy, playing the piano, and spending time in the sun with my loved ones and husband.
With a warm, accepting, and kind-hearted approach, I am passionate about guiding others through their healing journey and creating a space to nurture their unique growth. Seeing my own healing in therapy, I know others can heal too. I am honored that others have trusted me in their process of growth, and am excited to continue doing this work!
